When I wrote my first novel “The Ferret Files” I remained anonymous throughout the writing process – mainly because I wasn’t sure if I could actually achieve what I set out to do. This is a writer thing BTW: the flip-flopping between a conviction one has written the best-thing-ever, followed by a full-on crash where everything must be ripped up because it’s a pile of manure.
I had plenty of manure days, which was why I blogged as Ferret and didn’t use my own name. I’ve now decided to write the follow up, and thick of trying to stay anonymous no longer washes. Hence I’m now blogging on my own site.
