The Ferret Files is my first novel.
When I began writing it in 2012 I had no idea how long it was going to be overall. It turns out that the core story set in London is in 3-parts. I’ve always enjoyed a good conspiracy theory. It turns out that I enjoy mocking bad conspiracy theories even more. The novel ‘Foucault’s Pendulum’ was a great inspiration to me. Umberto Eco made up a worldwide conspiracy which is so good it could easily be true. Except it isn’t. It’s ridiculous. This is exactly the territory that Ferret explores.
